The Sipani, Bynekhan, Girikhan, Old Jensury, and New Jensury Estates that make up this cluster were acquired by Kelachandra Coffee in 2021. This cluster is situated on the slopes of the Baba Budan Giri peak in Chikmagalur, and honours the story of a mid-16th century
Sufi saint whose legendary love for coffee was immortalised in the form of India’s first coffee plantation.

The beauty of this cluster is evident in the form of waterscapes that range across elevations from 2800 feet to 4850 feet above MSL, giving rise to waterfalls, gently flowing streams and the rich biodiversity of the estates. This is also why we implement natural irrigation practices on estates in this cluster.
